uTorrent v3.1.2 build 26773 is totally flawed...

The very recent version of the most popular torrent application on the earth, uTorrent v3.1.2 build 26773, which has been updated 1 weeks ago, is totally flawed from its very first version. and this time the problem is severe and affects the CPU processor this time. and the previous issues with disk overloading is remained. even after some time on Google i also found that in several forums people are arguing over it, but no one is arguing over CPU usage.therefore i decided to let the world know about this.

From the very beginning this very software is flawed. the early versions were fine.works good. but this new version with several cosmetic changes failed to give something more in terms of performance. rather it brought disaster. this new version is very very CPU intensive. and it drives the CPU to run in 100%. which is overwhelming for any CPU to handle, and its brutal for laptop processors.

I have been using the application in both my desktop and laptop.though desktop is very airy so at first i didn't see any problem when running this application in desktop because my desktop can perfectly handle 100% CPU usage for long terms, as it is made with high performance overclocked gaming in mind, its an AMD machine baby !! ;)

Anyways, with my Laptop with Core i3 processor and 4GB ddr3 1600Mhz ram, its another story.as laptops don't have so much ventilation as desktops, they are prone to get hotter, though i have a faster system, faster fan with additional laptop cooler attached.but i first got the the hint of the problem when i see my laptop started is getting shut down frequently due to overheat. then i investigated the matter and found that my processor worked at 100% overnight !!

I investigated the problem and found that utorrent is the culprit. i checked the settings but found no problem in them, changing them also didn't worked much actually.

Anyways, later i found that decreasing "GUI update rate" in advance preference helps to low down the CPU usage but still its crappy.

On the other hand, the original Bittorret client, almost clone copy of utorrent has no problem like that, increasing GUI update rate in here increases slight CPU usage but not much to hang down the whole system.

Everyday we see more and more softwares getting updated and we update because it is supposed to bring stability and new features but in the other hand we get some flawed updates in reputed softwares like Firefox, Google Chrome, iTunes, Windows Updates, AVG updates, Immunet Updates, Ubuntu updates, ATI drivers ....... utorrent etc ....

My Compaq CQ41 227TX Laptop not working properly again...

Something is very very wrong with my Laptop... it is becoming super hot.i suspect that the fan has become faulty.or maybe the motherboard is corrupted.afraid of connecting the battery to it.bcz judging by the untouchable temperature of its.using of battery is not good.i dont want to send it to the service center again.olast time they charged me 1/2th of the laptop's price just to repair it, and YES they also changes some internal parts unnecessarily and also they STOLE my bluetooth chip built which was installed into the Motherboard.

when i reported them they said to me that it was never there ! then i told them that it means you gave me a false laptop at the time of purchase. well they are just a bunch of rat asses. and i don't care about them. i don't know what got into my father['s mind that he put all his money into reviving a fully dead laptop and  now this Frankenstein is giving me so much of problems.when it first became broke i told him to sell it.we got a hardware pawn shop who was agreed to give us 5000 INR for that junk without the hard drive.every now and then something is getting broke now in this laptop and as it is a laptop so it means that no part of it is available on open market except from the parent company and they charge hefty of price for this.

this is the original game that these kind of PC manufacturers play worldwide and specially in INDIAN SUBCONTINENT.they treat us like a bunch of lamer who don't know anything about their policies.they sell here mostly 2nd hand computers from USA and other developed countries where people changes their gadgets every now and then because they have money.those getting refurbished and cleaned and sold here with the SAME price.so they are making double money.

every new model or line up gets discontinued after 5.5 months average.its the less time than the warranty on the battery of that product.this is so ridiculous.and the best part of this is that no one cares about it.people just move on to buy next thing from these kind of manufacturers.besides the brands no computer manufacturer is different.even some makes their products on the same assembly line in Taiwan Korea and china.
except some companies like Apple, Sony, Toshiba and maybe Samsung all other so called biggies of computer manufacturers are all same from inside.just the difference is the chassis, the bloatwares they put in and the price.

all above data i gathered from different sources online and offline from different cities and some of them actually works in those companies.yet they are so frustrated by their companies that they vent their anger to me.

the matter of fact is that money matters in business and that's why it is so dirty out here.


right now i am backing up the data from my laptop i don't know what to do now.give it to the shop for repair or just do nothing because i havnt started my project yet and i have to start my project... at somewhere.my best hope is my desktop.

Living Life Using Brains ...

Life as we all know it is not based on entirely upon our own conception of the world and its raw truth, it is rather biased by the projected thoughts which are inserted into our brain by various resources. These thoughts works like an abstraction which prohibits us seeing the reality and later we loose our power to judge it. 

Advertisements are saying whats good for us and whats not, showing us that what makes us a proper man/woman and whats not. Our life is totally governed by some others decisions. even what brand of toilet paper we could use is defined by some other means. the free thinking of man is lost. we are captive of our own demeanor.

As the wise men have said that "A true king listens to all, but decides on his own" , Taking Suggestion is good but depending on others suggestion is bad. you will either end up being a robot or worst, a ZOMBIE. now who wants to be one? i hope none of us but eventually we become one without realization.

I mean s why it is always we have to listen to others about whats good for us and what bad when we have the brains to do that for us. now yes education is needed and also the civic sense of responsibilities but those should not restrict people's vision of thinking anything out of the box.

We humankind have a long history of suppressing free thoughts, no matter how right they are,  and Galileo about it or Leonardo perhaps. well that was the time of pope. but today everyone tries to suppress your thoughts, your parents, your favorite shows, your educators, mentors, employers and spouse even. bullying is the old trick, now they mesmerism you, make you think something gibberish and will eventually made you think shit about you.

But all we have to do now is to tell ourselves that "I AM RIGHT"

Its may be months after which I started to write something on my own. No no no I was not that so busy that I can’t write. infact I did wrote but none of them spoke any word of my own life. They were of my thinking, but not for me as a subject.many things have passed by these days. Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Deewali ,Christmas, new year, saraswati puja, valentines day…. Etc.many people filled up the park, warmed up the benches, spent money just to make their loved one happy. And all I did was NOTHING. Its not that I am so damn lazy to do noting but it is that I don’t have any one to.

Or maybe I was lazy. I was reluctant to take any steps, necessary steps, steps to ensure my happiness. Maybe I am talking like a selfish person now. but when I see everybody else is happy, is that a so much of a crime to become a little selfish but yet again to my unique nature I cant stay in one mode forever and I forgive them all who are bad to me. No I am not a god, I don’t want to be. Because I am lonely enough now, I don’t want to be lonelier than I am now.

Over these times I chose to watch movie and devoted myself to study about them and review them. Yeah I have been criticised, I have been slanged off by none other than the people I thought as my friends. But I never gave up on that. Because I enjoy watching movies and as the time passes by my knowledge about them become more concrete.

Actually the problem is not because I possess different thoughts than them nor I do different work. But it is also because I do work differently. The frequency of my brain maybe much higher or lower than them but the fact is that we as a human being don’t like different things. We always oppose them, criticise them and always try to demolish them. It’s like a competition of one’s ego with other one’s existence. I just wanted to broke this chain off on me so I dnt hate anyone except 1 person in this whole universe. I already told you friends that I am not god nor I am a saint so I cant forgive them all.

Maybe it’s a matter of shame that almost no one likes me as people are bound to hate each other, sooner or later, as long as their co-existence doesn’t not depends on each of them. Individually we are all same. Just the expression of thoughts are different we call ourselves unique in nature.

Love is divine. Love is true. But people forgot how to love and most importantly how to respond to it. The very fountain of love died in the heart of men so we are no longer different than animals. Love does not mean love alone. It also means compassion, compromise, sympathy. People prioritize their rights than their duty. Getting love is their right, but they forgot their duty of loving them back. That’s why people tend to hurt the very heart that loved them so unconditionally. But yet again to my realization love can’t be unconditional even the very love of a mother is also conditional to some extent.

Now a day’s people mock about it. Some hate it. Some make facebook pictures about it. Some write poems about it then what? They all forgot ……..

That’s it. They all forgot everything at last. So none of this ever matters. Nothing…

Torrent v/s Magnet links... Whats the deal anyways?

Hello friends, Recently the piratebay along with other torrent trackers worldwide moved on to this Magnet downloading technology once again after the failed attempt to implement it in earlier times on the era of Supernova and later TorrentFreak...

so now many people started to ask. "WHAT THE HECK IS MAGNET ??" so i decided to write one brief explanation to give those ignorant souls out there a much needed head start in this matter and to tell them about this not so newly developed but slowly adopted technology.


So whats the big deal ?


Instead of downloading the .torrent file from a webserver, you download it directly from a seed/leecher. The biggest advantage is that you might be able to download the content of the torrent, even if the tracker is down or closed for registration.

Magnet Links :


Advantages :
  1. They do not need a central authority to issue.
  2. They has open nature and platform independence, the same magnet link can be used as long as the system has the appropriate application.
  3. They are more user based, easy to use. All the system need is an application that support magnet links.
  4. Since it is user based, it is so easy to share resources.
  5. Most Magnet links application has a search function.
  6. Cant fake it.cant make it corrupted.
  7. No virus can be added.so no pollution.
  8. No downloading of any files from anywhere just passing of HASH so no Footprint and so no one can trace back.
  9. fully compatible with torrent clients.actually the whole process works above torrent protocol.just the passing of information is done by just sending the HASH to the client rather than downloading the .torrent file.
10. Early P2P networks used this already. though they are almost extinct now but as they used it it proved that how much this system is useful and powerful.and it is currently working in torrent network.
11. Even the "DARKNET" or so called "FREENET" is using this system to delivery content and information.


Earlier Disadvantages :
  1. Slower speed.
    - currently it is taken care of fully.
  2. Less control on speed and on the contend that is being downloaded.
    - this is not a problem anymore.the system is very streamlined now.and fully controllable without any difficulty.


Current Disadvantages :
  1. cant save them to start later while the client is already full, memory is thrashing, disk is getting overloaded.
  2. cant backup the hashes like torrent files either from torrent's save folder or any other backup folder.
  3. cant start downloading after formatting windows and re-installing the client.as you have to provide the hash again.and finding specific hash is very difficult.and if u cant find then you have to download from the start.


Torrent :


Advantages :
  1. Faster connection.
  2. Easier to search through the web.


Disadvantages :
  1. Trackers are needed when downloading a contend. If the tracker is down and there are no existing connection, the download may never be finished.
  2. Most torrent client do not have search function. Torrents ususally would be find from the internet.
  3. If a torrent was stored on web for long time, the tracker may be expeired already. It is almost impossible to find existing seed or leechers.

Magnet links consist of a series of one or more parameters, the order of which is not significant, formatted in the same way as the query string on the end of many HTTP URLs. The most common parameter is "xt", meaning "exact topic", which is generally a URN formed from the content hash of a particular file, e.g.. magnet:?xt=urn:sha1:YNCKHTQCWBTRNJIV4WNAE52SJUQCZO5C


referring to the Base32 encoded SHA-1 hash of the file in question.


Other parameters defined by the draft standard are:


"dn" ("display name"): a filename to display to the user, for convenience
"kt" ("keyword topic"): a more general search, specifying search terms rather than a particular file
"mt" ("manifest topic"): a URI pointing to a "manifest", e.g. a list of further items application-specific experimental parameters, which must begin "x." The standard also suggests that multiple parameters of the same type can be used by appending ".1", ".2" etc. to the parameter name, e.g.

Traditionally, .torrent files are downloaded from torrent sites. A torrent client then calculates a torrent hash (a kind of fingerprint) based on the files it relates to, and seeks the addresses of peers from a tracker (or the DHT network) before connecting to those peers and downloading the desired content.
Sites can save on bandwidth by calculating torrent hashes themselves and allowing them to be downloaded instead of .torrent files. Given the torrent hash – passed as a parameter within a Magnet link – clients immediately seek the addresses of peers and connect to them to download first the torrent file, and then the desired content.
It is worth noting that BitTorrent can not ditch the .torrent format entirely and rely solely on Magnet links. The .torrent files hold crucial information that is needed to start the downloading process, and this information has to be available in the swarm.
i hope this small introduction to magnet URI system is enough for you guys to know about this wonderful new technology. however there is always the Wikipedia :) isnt it?
