It's raining iPhones in India! After we reported that Aircel and Airtel were launching the iPhone 4 in India, both the companies have also announced that they are releasing an 8GB version of the iPhone 3GS under Rs. 25,000 and the telecom majors are expected to come with postpaid plans similar to the one for the iPhone 4 (Read: reverse-subsidised).

The major differences between the two phones are iPhone 4 has the retina display, 1 GHz A4 processor compared to 3GS's 600MHz Cortex A8 architecture, a 5MP camera as compared to the 3MP one on the 3GS and Facetime is a new feature on the iPhone 4.

So if you want the iPhone experience but can'™t afford to purchase an iPhone 4 (16GB for Rs. 34,500 and the 32 GB one for Rs. 40,990), the 3GS is still a pretty good smartphone in the market.

have anyone cared that how many 3GS apple got now?and how?where they have stopped the manufacturing and supports of it?the answer is pretty simple.they r using the old handsets dear.and they r selling it here now at full price.its like they are making money from free.

are we Indians are so fool ??
